On October 6, Wallspot received in Barcelona the collective of urban artists KSR (Kocha Se Raya), Bolivian artists with a long history and who have been invited to numerous national and international events and festivals.
This intervention is part of the Travel The Wall artistic exchange program. The artists painted the mural of the Guinardó (4.5 x 40 m).
Wallspot covered production costs and documented the process with a video interview and photos.
KSR collective merges elements such as typography, lettering and characters. The two artists are Puriskuri and Oveja213.
For this intervention, they painted two giant anteaters next to the phrase "Despierta ya" The artists tell us that in Latin America, exactly in Bolivia, is the territory of La Chiquitania, an invaluable public good heritage for the entire planet Earth due to the great extension of fauna and flora that it hosts. Since last July, as a result of man-made fires, more than 5.3 million hectares of forest were lost, the population of large numbers were threatened, including the giant anteater portrayed in the mural. Kocha Se Raya assures that it is time to analyze the biocidal vision in which our rulers and governed direct the course of history and as citizens we must take actions to counteract the loss of such an important lung. ¡Despierta ya!
