From October 10th to 18th, the third edition of the contemporary and the charity art festival Kronos Art will be held in Barcelona at Arts Santa Mònica, La Rambla.
Kronos Art Bcn 2020 works to promote cultural activism through the liberation of society towards the artist's own freedom.
The festival’s aim is to frame art in the abstract concept of time and make the spectator aware of how the past of uncensored art has influenced in our present, giving visibility to the role of the artist and the current work of art without prejudice, without criteria; creating a prologue for the future ensuring art as a tool for social transformation.
This is how the new edition is shown, which not only counts on artists, but also includes the environment that surrounds them, creating a social action by bringing art closer to the smallest of the city's schools and by raising funds and food for the AAA project (Actúa, Ayuda, Alimenta), focusing on the neediest families in the city of Barcelona.
The Festival has organized an action on the walls of Tres Xemeneies, a free space managed by Rebobinart through the Wallspot platform. The activity, which is called Live Painting and will be held the 10th and 11th from 14:00 to 20:00, counts on the collaboration of different artists: Bubbles, Ives one, Juanjo Surace, Keruna, Maga, Magda Ćwik, Santiago Jaén, Seno, Soem and Turkesa.
From our platform we want to support these types of events, since urban art is a very important tool when it comes to promoting social awareness, vindication and the fight for the visibility of our past, present and to ensure that it will be a fighting tool in the future.
